Our Trips

coeur d alene lake tripsCoeur d'Alene Lake: Rated one of the top 5 most beautiful lakes in the country. This big, natural body of water is home to landlocked chinook salmon, northern pike, bull trout, cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, large and small mouth bass, crappie, perch, blue gill and more.

Our primary targeted species are the northern pike, which average 5 to 12 pounds with numerous fish over 20 pounds being caught each year, the line burning, hard fighting, landlocked chinook salmon which average 3 to 10 pounds, with a number of fish each year around 20 pounds.

Pend Oreille Lake: The Gem states largest body of water, and most of it more than a 1000 feet deep is a natural glacier formed lake. This big body of water is home to the Gerrard "Kamloops" rainbow trout, lake trout, bull trout, brown trout, brook trout, cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, whitefish, bass, perch, crappie and more .

Our favorite targeted species is the big, beautiful, line burning, tail walking Gerrard "Kamloops" rainbows. Capable of taking hundreds of feet of line off your reel in seconds and putting your gear through the test, these fish average in size from 4 to 12 pounds with numerous fish over 20 pounds being caught each year! I also enjoy trolling for the lake trout which average 8 to 15 pounds with numerous fish over 15 pounds being caught.

Coeur d'Alene Chain Lakes: connected to Coeur d'Alene Lake by the Coeur d'Alene river  (with  the exception of Rose lake) the chain lakes are particularly popular for northern pike and largemouth bass.

St Joe River: at 2,128 foot elevation the "Shadowy St. Joe" is America's highest navigable stream. It's not unknown for big trout, mostly cutthroat or bull trout, kokanee, northern pike, landlocked salmon and an assortment of perch and bass.
